What's the story with all these past tenses?

You struggle with remembering which past tense you need to use and when.

I get it, it's not easy. There were times at the beginning of my career when an advanced student would ask me, "why do I need to use the pretérito here and not the imperfect?" or "what's the difference between one and the other?" and they'd throw me off. There are so many nuances, and the textbooks sometimes complicate things more than clarify them.

After more than 10 years of asking the students questions, I started to see what explanations made more sense to them, what examples clicked and what metaphors brought the concepts home. This self-paced course nicely summarizes all of those explanations, examples, and metaphors.

But don't worry! It's short. It's sweet. And you can go back to the materials as many times as you want while deepening your understanding as you get better over time.
